Hume Free Face Mask Initiative:
Hume is donating one million free face masks as a gift to our valued customers, and to people working in the Australian construction industry. The masks are available at Hume branches while stocks last, and are being delivered to worksites by Hume sales representatives.
In announcing the launch of this charity initiative, Hume's General Manager Stavros Perrotis said: "In these challenging times, we are supporting all efforts by the construction industry to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"As part of our community service response, Hume is now distributing free boxes of disposable protective masks to customers at our NSW and VIC Hume branches, and visiting customers and supply partners on worksites to deliver the masks.
"This is a gift for our valued customers, and is part of our commitment to working within our industry to help keep Australians safe through the coronavirus storm.
"Should you have any questions about our free face mask initiative, please feel free to contact your Hume account manager, or call our sales line on 13 HUME.
"In these uncertain times, I would like to assure you that Hume remains open for business and ready to assist the construction industry with supply of building products, tools and accessories.
"On behalf of the Hume team, Nick and I are particularly proud of this initiative and would like to thank everyone for their support so far."
