Now Trading as Hume Building Products

Hume Plasterboard now trading as Hume Building Products:

Hume Plasterboard Pty Ltd ACN 101 562 270 (“the Company”) has been trading under the registered business name “Australia Building Centre”. Effective 30 April 2017, we are changing our registered business name to “Hume Building Products”.

This name change allows us to incorporate our company name recognition into our business activities. Our operations today have become more diverse in nature and include product lines beyond where we began.

Hume will continue to operate in its current structure, and your contacts will remain unchanged. Other than these visible changes, there is no change in ownership and no change in staff. Our office location, phone, and fax numbers will remain the same.

Our business remains fundamentally unaffected by this change and all existing contracts remain unchanged, with corresponding obligations and rights assumed under the new name.

The changing of the company’s registered business name will not affect the compliance of any products. All products traded under the new company trading name of Hume Building Products continue to comply fully with the formal declared properties.

We ask that all tax invoices now be issued using the new registered business name “Hume Building Products”. 

We look forward to continuing to grow and serve you in the market under our new business name.
